About the Role
As we expand our SaaS platform to accommodate increasingly intricate enterprise environments, the significance of our graph-based data architecture is growing. We seek a Senior Software Engineer with extensive expertise in developing and scaling graph-centric, multi-tenant data systems for large-scale SaaS applications.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for advancing our graph data tier—designing high-performance, secure, and scalable graph models and storage strategies that facilitate complex relationships, deep querying capabilities, and insightful analytics across multiple tenants.
This hands-on, impactful position will allow you to influence the technical framework of how we represent, store, navigate, and analyze interconnected enterprise data at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Graph Data Architecture
Architect, refine, and optimize our multi-tenant graph data model, encompassing node/edge schema design, relationship modeling, partitioning, and traversal strategies.
Establish and implement tenancy models for graph storage—balancing shared-graph versus tenant-isolated subgraphs, hybrid partitioning, or database-per-tenant graph deployments.
Create robust data architecture for graph sharding, indexing, and high-throughput traversal, ensuring rapid response times for queries as the complexity and size of the topology expands.
Backend & Data Layer Engineering
Develop backend services that extensively interact with data stores, including APIs, data access tiers, ingestion workflows, and graph mutation/query pipelines.
Enhance query performance through indexing enhancements, caching strategies for subgraphs, optimized traversal patterns, and distributed graph execution.
Multi-Tenancy & Platform Scalability
Lead the strategic decisions surrounding multi-tenant graph architecture including tenant boundaries, access control models, resource isolation, and performance equity.
Implement tooling for tenant onboarding, migrations, provisioning, graph expansion, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of graph data architecture into our SaaS platform.
