Role Overview
At Roku, we are enhancing a large-scale experimentation platform that underpins data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Our system manages over 5,000 experiments annually, supports 100+ million devices, and executes over 100,000 operations per second while ensuring high reliability and low latency.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next iteration of our distributed backend. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new platform features such as bias avoidance mechanisms, advanced segment management, and experiment orchestration tools that guarantee trustworthy results at scale. Simultaneously, you will focus on enhancing the system's resilience, performance, and scalability, while addressing the challenges of high throughput and global reach. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product partners to translate experimental insights into actionable improvements.
