Voltai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer: Deployments to help deliver our AI platform to leading semiconductor and consumer electronics companies. This position works closely with customers to refine and enhance features, ensuring our solutions fit their real-world needs.

Our Team
The Voltai team includes hackers, researchers, and operators focused on AI for electronic systems and semiconductors. Team members come from diverse backgrounds, including former Stanford professors, SAIL researchers, Olympiad medalists, and executives from Synopsys, GlobalFoundries, and Cadence. We value execution and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders such as Stanford, Sequoia, Google, AMD, and Broadcom.
What You Will Do
- Oversee customer deployments at sites across the SF Bay Area, including Cupertino and Santa Clara.
- Adapt and develop features tailored to customer workflows, moving capabilities from our cloud product to secure on-premises environments.
- Manage cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift. Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues as they come up.
- Gain exposure to hardware design. Prior experience is not required, but curiosity and willingness to learn about high-level hardware development are important.
What We Look For
- Strong problem-solving skills matter more than matching keywords.
- At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering, full-stack development, or infrastructure/DevOps (not including internships or teaching assistant roles).
- Familiarity with agent development and Reinforcement Learning (RAG) is a plus.
- Solid instincts for systems design and debugging.
- Comfort with Docker, cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Willingness to travel, primarily within California.
