The Connectors team serves as the critical link between ClickHouse and the broader data ecosystem. We are dedicated to developing and maintaining connectors that make ClickHouse accessible to millions of developers and data professionals around the globe. Our responsibilities range from low-level database integrations to high-level data visualization plugins, ensuring seamless integration of ClickHouse with the tools that our users rely on.
Our team manages the official data connectors (Kafka, dbt, Spark, Flink, Beam, Fivetran) and integrates with leading visualization platforms (Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on JVM-based frameworks, you will play a pivotal role in owning and maintaining essential components of ClickHouse's data engineering ecosystem. This position lies at the crossroads of high-performance database engineering and developer experience, where you will create tools that empower Data Engineers to leverage ClickHouse's exceptional speed and scalability.
You will manage the complete lifecycle of data framework integrations, including the core database driver that handles billions of records per second, as well as SDKs and connectors that ensure ClickHouse operates seamlessly within JVM-based applications. Your contributions will establish the foundation that thousands of Data Engineers depend on for their most critical data tasks.
Your efforts will have a direct influence on how companies process vast datasets, from real-time analytics platforms ingesting millions of events per second to observability systems that monitor global infrastructure. You will work closely with the open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise clients to guarantee that our JVM integrations meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
