Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on scalable solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL. Demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. Passion for improving healthcare through technology.

We invite you to join our dynamic Care Platform Operations team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services that are instrumental in how Ro delivers exceptional care to our patients. Your contributions will facilitate smooth communication between patients and providers, streamline appointment scheduling, and enhance task management workflows. By enabling our clinical and non-clinical teams to respond effectively to patient needs, you will help Ro expand our patient-centric healthcare model to serve millions seeking treatment.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing innovative applications, refining existing platform functionalities, and shaping Ro's technical architecture. As a senior team member, you will play a crucial role in defining and steering the technical roadmap, managing initiatives from conception through deployment and maintenance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and data, and have the opportunity to work with security, operations, clinical, and legal experts to ensure our solutions align with the highest standards of quality and compliance.
