The Enterprise Architect is pivotal in steering the long-term architectural vision of the company, ensuring our systems are scalable, resilient, cost-effective, and integrated with AI technologies. This role acts as a bridge between business objectives, data management, and technological solutions, converting intricate business requirements into practical, sustainable architectural frameworks that promote EcoVadis’ growth and innovation. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture Strategy & DirectionTransform business and product strategies into enterprise-level architectural frameworks and roadmaps.Develop and oversee the target architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains.Establish and refine the enterprise architecture metamodel and sustain the EA repository.Analyze and document current architectures, pinpointing gaps, redundancies, and structural risks, while driving simplification initiatives.Lead strategic architecture projects including application rationalization and modernization.Manage technology risks strategically across the organization.Governance & Decision SupportEstablish and uphold architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.Evaluate and challenge significant architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational goals.Assist executive decision-making by providing clear options and trade-offs, backed by thorough analysis.Oversee the implementation of new tools and platforms, as well as the retirement of outdated systems.Continuously enhance architecture governance practices to ensure effectiveness and agility.Collaboration & EnablementServe as a trusted advisor and intermediary among business, product, engineering, data, and security stakeholders.Collaborate with Solution Architects and Tech Leads to synchronize local designs with enterprise objectives.Partner with IT and Security teams to ensure architectural alignment with security protocols and policies.Engage in agile, cross-functional teams, providing architectural insights for specific business domains.Convert business, product, and technical requirements into architecture specifications for selected enterprise initiatives.Data, AI & Emerging TechnologiesWork collaboratively on data architecture, analytics, and governance models (e.g., data mesh, federated ownership).Facilitate the responsible adoption of AI/ML technologies and agent-based capabilities across the organization.Assess emerging technologies and trends with a focus on delivering business value, steering clear of hype-driven decisions.
