About the Role
As the Senior Sales Engineer focused on Customer Expansion in the ASEAN region, you will be pivotal in transforming the digital landscape for our key existing customers. Fivetran serves as the cornerstone of the modern data stack, facilitating Open Data Infrastructure for numerous global enterprises.
In this role, you are not merely maintaining accounts; you are a growth architect. By leveraging your expertise in Data Replication (CDC), ELT/ETL, Cloud Data Warehousing, and Data Lakehouses, you will uncover significant expansion opportunities. Collaborating closely with Account Managers, you will construct more agile and secure data infrastructures that empower our clients to thrive in the AI era. You will be supported by an exceptional global Sales Engineering team and a dynamic APAC sales organization, positioning you as the technical cornerstone of Fivetran's continued success in Southeast Asia.
This is a full-time, remote position based in Singapore.
Your primary focus will be on maximizing customer lifetime value (CLV) through:
- Strategic Land & Expand: Engaging new business units and subsidiaries within global conglomerates.
- Use Case Innovation: Identifying new opportunities for data pipelines, addressing needs from real-time analytics to GenAI readiness.
- Product Evangelism: Promoting advanced connectors (such as SAP, Oracle, HVR) and new platform capabilities.
- Architecture Evolution: Ensuring Fivetran remains the standard as customers scale their data volume and complexity.
