About the Role:
Following our acquisition of Securiti AI, renowned for its AI-driven data security posture management, Veeam is on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical expertise to our sales team, concentrating on the Securiti AI product suite. Collaborating closely with a Securiti Sales Specialist, you will support 3-5 Account Executives and Veeam Solution Engineers, acting as the key technical resource.
Your responsibilities will involve guiding clients through the needs assessment process to solution design, delivering engaging demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that highlight our value proposition. Success in this position hinges on your robust technical acumen and your ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
What You’ll Do:</strong>
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for Securiti AI solutions throughout the sales process
- Facilitate technical discussions and develop tailored security solutions
- Address client needs regarding data discovery, posture management, and compliance
- Design and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams for seamless transitions
What You’ll Bring:</strong>
- Extensive experience in pre-sales or sales engineering
- Deep understanding of data and/or cloud security
- Proficient in communicating with both technical and business stakeholders
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales within the security domain
- 15+ years in software, SaaS, or enterprise technical sales
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with data privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR)
