Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in RFIC or analog IC layout design. Full-time, onsite work required in Atlanta, GA. Preferred Skills:Experience with advanced semiconductor processes such as SOI and GaN. Knowledge of RF layout techniques, including matching, shielding, guard rings, and isolation structures. Experience in supporting tape-out and post-silicon validation processes.

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior RFIC Layout Engineer to facilitate the physical implementation of RF and mmWave integrated circuits. This pivotal role involves creating high-quality IC layouts for RF front-end circuits while adhering to foundry design rules and performance specifications. You will work in close collaboration with RFIC designers, verification teams, and fabrication partners to ensure successful tape-outs and optimal silicon performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute layouts for RF and analog integrated circuits, including amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and related RF blocks.
  • Collaborate closely with circuit designers to convert schematics into optimized physical layouts that fulfill performance and area specifications.
  • Ensure compliance of layouts with foundry design guidelines and assist in the design verification processes, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction.
  • Enhance layout for RF performance, signal integrity, matching, and noise isolation.
  • Assist in tape-out preparations and coordinate with fabrication partners throughout the manufacturing workflow.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including RF design, packaging, and testing.
  • Document layout methodologies and contribute to the development of best practices for RFIC physical design.
