Qualifications

As a Senior SatCom RF Systems Engineering Specialist, you will possess profound expertise in all aspects of Satellite-based RF communications, particularly at the physical and Layer Two levels. Familiarity with protocol layers 3 and above is essential. You will engage with DVB-S2 protocols, including DVB-RCS2 and DVB-S2X, and are expected to have an in-depth understanding of RF and communications systems theories. Experience with Adaptive Coding and Modulation techniques is required. Additionally, a solid grasp of active antenna beam forming technologies, encompassing digital beam forming, fast beam hopping, and general phased array antenna modeling and performance, is essential. Proven experience in a Systems Engineering environment is a must, along with the ability to utilize Systems Engineering tools to effectively manage the progression from requirements through design, implementation, and verification.
