Position Summary & Responsibilities
The RF Payload team is at the forefront of transforming system and network requirements into practical solutions. As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our network by navigating the intricate design landscape, from antennas to digital baseband systems, performing comprehensive RF chain analysis. You will lead the analysis and modeling of trade spaces, guiding the development of multiple payloads while supporting both bus and payload activities from conceptualization to flight readiness.
You should thrive in a dynamic environment where you can take abstract design concepts and translate them into tangible hardware for testing and flight. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about solving complex challenges and are comfortable collaborating with high-performing teams to achieve innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement design and testing strategies throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring executable link budgets by aligning system requirements with realizable hardware, including sourcing COTS components or collaborating with partners for custom solutions.
Maintain the integrity of the RF system design through rigorous analysis and laboratory verification of component technologies.
Collaborate with multiple payload teams to translate executable link budgets and analyses into system designs that can be effectively implemented, integrated, and flown while meeting all specifications.
