As a Senior Resident Solutions Architect (Sr. RSA) at Databricks, you will be an integral part of our Professional Services team, engaging with clients on short to medium-term projects to resolve their complex big data challenges using Apache Spark™ and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. This customer-facing role demands extensive hands-on expertise in Apache Spark™ and data engineering, alongside a broad understanding of the big data ecosystem. You will guide our largest clients in implementing data pipelines that span data engineering, model development, and deployment, ensuring they derive maximum value from their data with Databricks.
Your Impact:
- Lead customers through the implementation of transformative big data projects, managing the end-to-end development and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications.
- Ensure adherence to Databricks best practices in every project, maintaining high standards of service quality and implementation.
- Conduct technical workshops, facilitate discovery and design sessions, and gather customer requirements for both new and existing strategic clients.
- Assist Professional Services leadership and project managers with effort estimation and risk mitigation in customer proposals and statements of work.
- Architect, design, develop, deploy, operationalize, and document complex customer engagements, either independently or as the technical lead on a collaborative team.
- Foster knowledge transfer, enablement, and mentoring of team members, customers, and partners, including the development of reusable project artifacts.
- Contribute to the consulting team by sharing best practices in client engagement.
