About Active Site Active Site is a nonprofit research organization focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and biology. The team collects and analyzes real-world data to understand how AI can enhance human capabilities in biological research. This project explores how people with minimal biology backgrounds can self-learn essential lab techniques, with findings aimed at advancing AI’s role in science. What You Will Do Lab Projects: Carry out DNA assembly (molecular cloning), mammalian cell culture, and cell transfection in BSL-1 and BSL-2 labs.
