You should possess excellent programming skills, preferably in Python, and be ready to mentor and lead team members.

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Quantitative Researcher in our vibrant Amsterdam office. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead innovative research initiatives and take charge of mentoring and managing talented individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage machine learning techniques to design and implement sophisticated statistical arbitrage strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate new trading opportunities through in-depth analysis of market data.
  • Craft features and models to forecast the behavior of numerous securities within a rapid timeframe of 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
  • Collaborate with machine learning pipelines to enhance the strategy development process.
  • Continuously optimize and refine existing models for better performance.
  • Facilitate communication among internal teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) environments.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with machine learning models tailored for HFT strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing ML pipelines across multiple exchanges, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing complex statistical arbitrage strategies that capitalize on price discrepancies between multiple instruments.
  • A strong desire to deepen your knowledge of high-frequency trading and apply it across numerous exchanges.
  • Ability to manage the entire data pipeline from sampling and feature creation to production strategy deployment.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, with Python being the preferred choice.
  • A confident, resilient, highly motivated, and proactive approach to work.
  • A collaborative mindset, open to learning from colleagues with diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mentoring and managing interns or research teams.
