About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Veeam Quality Assurance team in our Warsaw R&D office, where you will collaborate with talented QA professionals on our cutting-edge products.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive testing on one or multiple Veeam products.
- Engage actively in the product lifecycle from creation to development.
- Analyze software requirements meticulously.
- Contribute to the planning and development of product test strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the product development process.
- Mentor and onboard new team members.
- Evaluate test outcomes and manage the defects database.
- Assist in customer technical support initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- A technical background or a strong passion for technology.
- Over 3 years of experience in software testing.
- Comprehensive understanding of software development principles and the QA role.
- Experience in creating test strategies and plans, monitoring test progress, and enhancing testing processes.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with network technologies (e.g., DNS, DHCP, basic network configurations).
- A logical, analytical mindset with an open and flexible approach.
- A strong desire to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in English for daily communication within international teams.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience in test automation.
- Proven ability to lead and develop QA teams.
