This position is primarily remote, with the possibility of onsite client engagements as needed and occasional travel to our London headquarters for meetings and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation frameworks from the ground up, including Web Services/API, performance, and accessibility testing within a DevOps CI/CD setup.
- Provide insightful solutions to clients as necessary.
- Oversee, plan, and execute exploratory and automation testing throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, document, track, and resolve quality issues and defects using a defect tracking system.
- Take full ownership of the release process to ensure effective product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with developers, junior test engineers, and cross-functional scrum team members to enhance test coverage and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update regression test suites as products evolve.
- Work collaboratively in a DevOps-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in Cypress for test automation
- Experience in API testing using Rest Assured or Postman
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- A genuine passion for IT and emerging technologies
- Basic knowledge of AWS is a plus
