About Reef Technologies:
We are a fully remote team of senior Python backend engineers with over 5 years of experience.
Our focus is on building complex distributed systems, ensuring low latency, fault tolerance, high scalability, and self-healing capabilities. We also develop APIs, databases, and libraries, diving into custom algorithm design as needed.
Over the long term, we collaborate with startups globally, working on projects that range from one-off tasks to multi-year partnerships. Highlights of our work include a financial data warehouse for a London fintech, a graph search system for Norwegian auditors, and a scalable WAF for a client in Chicago.
Beyond our technical endeavors, we actively shape Reef Technologies to be a desirable workplace. We co-create company policies using Sociocracy 3.0, a framework that ensures every voice is valued and rules are collaboratively established.
