Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS in Architecture or a closely related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience managing Architecture/Engineering (A/E) design projects, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. Preferred Qualifications:8+ years of relevant experience, including 6 years managing A/E projects. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams. A proven history of decision-making that drives successful project execution. Licensed Registered Architect (RA). Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

This prominent role will allow you to lead intricate, multidisciplinary projects that contribute to the development of cities and communities across the region.

In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor and a responsible delivery leader, steering the project direction, aligning teams, and guaranteeing that outcomes reflect our commitment to design excellence, technical proficiency, and disciplined project delivery. You will oversee every aspect from project pursuits and proposals to design, construction, and project closeout, ensuring performance aligns with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction, while also fostering relationships and driving growth in our local market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional end-to-end project performance throughout the lifecycle, delivering consistently predictable results.
  • Serve as the primary senior client liaison—building trust, steering decision-making, and representing AECOM with clarity and professionalism.
  • Negotiate project scope, fees, and work plans, while effectively aligning resources to meet commitments.
  • Implement comprehensive project controls encompassing schedule, budget, risk, quality, and change management; proactively address contingencies and trade-offs.
  • Lead and nurture high-performing teams—set clear expectations, foster collaboration, mediate conflicts, and mentor emerging project leaders.
  • Facilitate effective governance and communication through adept meeting leadership, action tracking, milestone reporting, and executive-level client updates.
  • Maintain financial oversight, including invoicing schedules, forecasting, performance metrics, and timely issue escalation to safeguard project and business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to sustain project momentum, nurture relationships, and achieve client and business objectives.
  • Contribute to growth by supporting pursuit strategies, proposal development, interview preparations, and expansion of existing client accounts.
