Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., AACE, PMI-PMP) are advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, project controls, or financial management within the infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors. Demonstrated experience in developing analytics solutions and facilitating data-driven decision-making on large, complex projects. Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel. Experienced with cost and schedule analytics tools and familiar with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.

The ideal candidate will engage throughout all phases of a project, from requirement identification and project scope definition to leading the design and implementation of impactful controls analytics solutions. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with high-profile clients on major projects, working alongside a diverse team of construction professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.

The Senior Project Controls Analyst will be instrumental in delivering advanced analytics and actionable data insights to enhance project controls for significant infrastructure initiatives. This position is crucial for ensuring that project risks, schedule performance, and cost projections are aligned with overall business objectives. The analyst will collaborate closely with project managers, risk analysts, and commercial experts to improve project performance visibility and facilitate informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Controls Analytics & Reporting:

  • Create and manage dashboards and reports that offer insights into project health across all PMO functions at both project and program levels.
  • Develop and track key project performance indicators, identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Deliver clear and actionable insights to stakeholders, empowering effective project governance decisions.
  • Data Modeling & Analysis:
  • Construct descriptive and predictive analytics models to evaluate potential project outcomes based on current data and trends.

Risk & Performance Management:

  • Partner with the risk management team to integrate data-driven risk models into the controls process.
  • Quantify and incorporate risk impacts into forecasts and contingency plans, providing a comprehensive view of project performance, including support for QSRA and QCRA.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with project teams to understand requirements, explore desired outcomes, and deliver customized analytics solutions.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytics insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an accessible manner.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines for all controls analytics methodologies and practices.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in analytics tools, techniques, and best practices within project and program management.
