Qualifications

Requirements:U. S. citizenship and one of the following:A) a high school diploma or GED and 20 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser program management or administration. B) a bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser program management or administration. C) a master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser program management or administration. Desired Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of Navy/DoD policy and guidance. Understanding of the Above Water Sensor/Lasers portfolio. Proficient in data collection and analysis. Experience in configuration management of historical program documentation. Familiarity with key internal and external stakeholders. Security Clearance Level:Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance. Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

About the job

Sigma Defense Systems seeks a Senior Program Manager & Administrator based in Washington, DC. This role supports U. S. Navy Above Water Sensors and Lasers programs, guiding efforts across the entire acquisition lifecycle. The position blends program management, administrative coordination, and analytical support, working alongside leadership and technical teams to help deliver on program objectives.

What you will do

  • Manage programs from start to finish in accordance with DoD 5000 series, NAVSEA technical instructions, Program Management processes, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways.
  • Work closely with the Major Program Manager, Deputy PM, PAPMs, Technical Directors, and cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and meet deadlines.
  • Support each phase of the acquisition process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all program requirements.
  • Provide thorough administrative and analytical support throughout program execution.

Additional information

This position depends on the successful awarding of a contract. A formal offer will be extended once the contract is finalized.
