Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify distribution partners across Africa.
- Uncover underserved market segments.
- Identify new asset classes.
- Examine regulatory and market shifts.
- Analyze competitors to identify product gaps.
- Define and prioritize product features.
- Manage product backlog effectively.
- Oversee the prioritization of customer requests (CR).
- Support the initial rollout and integration of new products.
- Create comprehensive use cases and business requirements.
- Perform feasibility studies and draft business plans.
- Lead product design, development, and release processes.
- Coordinate the collection and prioritization of product functionality requests.
- Monitor developments in the fintech credit space.
- Evaluate new credit product propositions.
- Assess distribution partners and tailor products to meet their needs.
- Prepare detailed business requirements and product specifications.
- Define go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Draft user manuals and sales support documentation.
- Collaborate with legal teams on contract templates.
- Engage with various stakeholders to piece together product elements.
- Train commercial and operations teams on new products and distribution partners.
- Monitor and optimize new products and partnerships during the first year of operations.
