Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager will be pivotal in designing, optimizing, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of exchange derivative product lines, such as perpetual futures, options, and structured products. This role requires a deep understanding of market demands, regulatory trends, and technical implementation, integrating quantitative strategies and risk management systems to develop a competitive derivatives trading platform that assists users in achieving their risk hedging, arbitrage, and leveraged trading goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of cryptocurrency derivatives (futures, options, perpetual swaps, etc.), focusing on contract specifications, funding rates, settlement mechanisms, and margin models.
- Collaborate with technical teams to outline product development requirements while assisting marketing and operations in crafting effective derivatives promotion strategies.
(Emphasis on institutional pipelines and compliance frameworks)
- Develop compliant institutional supply chains for derivatives, encompassing onboarding, listing, access, and standardized APIs aligned with regulations such as CFTC and SFC VATP.
- Oversee business system design, including access controls, APIs, and workflows for tokenized and RWA derivatives.
- Incorporate innovations tailored for institutional clients in alignment with DeFi trends while maintaining compliance.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to devise differentiated liquidity and volume strategies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to facilitate multi-jurisdictional access and go-to-market strategies.
