Hopper is on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer to join our rapidly growing Fintech team. This is a unique opportunity to help scale our immensely successful fintech products into new sales channels while driving innovation through the creation of new offerings that meet travelers' needs.
As part of the design team, you will collaborate closely with product stakeholders, engineering, and business partners to craft elegant, user-centered solutions. This role requires an individual who thrives in ambiguity, acts swiftly without compromising quality, and juggles multiple priorities while keeping the customer experience at the forefront of every decision.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
End-to-End Web Experience Design: Oversee the entire process from initial design to launch.
Research and Validation: Conduct customer interviews and usability tests, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data (behavior tracking, metric analysis, A/B testing) to validate and iterate on designs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define problems and explore solutions alongside product, technical, and business teams.
Simplifying Complexity: Create straightforward and logical interfaces that make complex workflows intuitive.
Strategic Trade-offs: Balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints; make smart compromises between speed, learning, and competing priorities.
Presentation and Influence: Lead design reviews with external partners and effectively advocate for your design decisions.
