We are seeking mission-driven Senior and Principal DevSecOps Engineers who are not just looking to write code, but also to make a significant impact on vital projects. If you are eager to tackle complex challenges and contribute to meaningful work, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) to ensure secure software builds and deployments.
- Manage automated deployments across various environments (development, testing, production) using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Work autonomously on tasks that align with team and project objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members while contributing to project discussions.
- Integrate CI pipelines with artifact management, testing, code quality, and security scanning tools.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline performance and deployments.
- Oversee software release processes, including version control, branching, integration, and validation.
- Implement and manage Helm charts for application deployments.
- Validate deployments and troubleshoot issues in Kubernetes environments.
- Maintain compliance with cybersecurity protocols and secure coding standards.
- Assist in software vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
- Perform other DevSecOps-related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U. S. citizen and eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years working with:
- Python3
- CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
- Git for version control
- Container orchestration using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kustomize, or Helm
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
