THE ROLE:

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role at Pure Storage, a pioneer in data storage and flash technology.

In this key position, you will dive deep into understanding our customers' unique challenges and customize Pure Storage solutions to fulfill their specific requirements. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll serve as a technical authority throughout the sales process, demonstrating the value of our cutting-edge products and services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors that drive a customer's business and influence their decision-making.
  • Connect technology solutions, including the Pure Storage portfolio and other ecosystem offerings, to tangible business outcomes for customers.
  • Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create a cohesive customer experience and strategy for revenue growth and new business.
  • Impress customers and colleagues with your technical expertise and leadership in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings in the DAS, NAS, and SAN product spaces.
  • Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations effectively.
  • Develop and present compelling technical product and architecture presentations to secure technical wins with clients and prospective customers.
  • Identify customer requirements and convert their business needs into innovative solutions that boost their growth and capacity.
  • Proactively find and promote new opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing/validation.
  • Facilitate mutual roadmap and planning discussions.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing to create supporting materials (e.g., whitepapers, web presentations) that align with our overall objectives.
