ABOUT THE ROLE: Senior Payroll Analyst
As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll processing for our employees across the United States and international locations. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as company policies, while delivering timely and precise payments to employees. Your keen attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, and proficiency with payroll software will be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
o Accurately calculate and process wages, salaries, and bonuses in accordance with time records and employment contracts.
o Ensure appropriate deductions for federal, state, and local taxes, as well as benefits and retirement contributions.
o Utilize payroll software such as Rippling to process payroll efficiently, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
o Review and process employee expense reports, if applicable.
2. Tax Compliance:
o Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including changes to withholding rates and reporting requirements.
o Ensure the timely and accurate filing of payroll tax returns, including Forms 941, W-2, W-3, and other state-specific forms in compliance with IRS guidelines.
o Reconcile payroll tax liabilities and payments, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
