At Lightspeed, we are in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Outbound Sales Development Representative to spearhead our outbound initiatives for our Golf product line. As the initial point of contact for potential clients, your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for our sales team. The perfect fit for this position will have a background in lead generation or experience selling technology-driven solutions. Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities primarily through phone and email outreach, targeting golf directors to showcase our services.
- Manage a designated territory that spans multiple states and provinces across North America.
- Engage with prospects through outbound strategies, presenting our services as solutions to enhance their operations.
- Oversee messaging and cadence building within your territory.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to craft and implement effective pipeline growth strategies, consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Monitor outreach performance and gather prospect feedback to refine messaging, channels, and cadences, providing insights to improve product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales or a customer-facing role.
- A passion for the game of golf.
- Experience with technology solutions (software, mobile applications, etc.).
- Fluency in English is essential, as our clientele and team extend beyond Quebec.
- Exceptional customer service and telephone communication skills, including strong listening abilities, both verbal and written.
- A self-starter with an outgoing personality.
- Comfortable with technology, yet able to connect with those less tech-savvy.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):
- Experience working with golf courses.
- Familiarity with the golf industry.
- Proficiency in French in addition to English.
- Experience working with CRM tools.
