Responsibilities and Expectations
1. 7-9 years of comprehensive systems life cycle experience with a deep technical expertise.
2. Subject matter expert in Reservations (Transactions), Web Analytics (Ecommerce transactions), and Sales (Account Tracking, Travel Agent Commissions transactions).
3. Directly collaborate with business leads, particularly in handling minor enhancements or resolving data issues.
4. Provide support across various technologies within the MRDW framework.
5. Lead or participate in requirements gathering sessions.
6. Develop and manage project plans independently, including schedules and deliverables.
7. Plan and coordinate complex implementations, ensuring quality control over system design, usability, and functionality.
8. Collaborate with quality assurance, shared services, and vendor relations teams.
9. Potentially manage consulting resources.
10. Offer consultation for both routine and complex systems development.
11. Create short-term plans to effectively utilize team resources.
12. Oversee customer satisfaction processes and address any concerns.
13. Provide accurate work effort estimates.
14. Act as a technical resource for team members.
15. Train and mentor team members and peers as appropriate.
16. Exhibit strong problem solving and analytical skills.
17. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
18. Possess exceptional presentation skills.
