Role Overview

The Senior Media Manager will lead media initiatives within the retail advertising sector. This role shapes and executes media strategies, optimizes advertising campaigns, and ensures alignment with Flywheel’s business goals. The position sits within the marketing team and requires a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on campaign management, and strong client partnership. Deep knowledge of retail advertising platforms and a track record of successful media management are essential.

What You Will Do

  • Lead client engagements and guide strategic conversations.
  • Support clients with planning and budgeting, ensuring campaigns meet agreed KPIs.
  • Advise on campaign optimizations to drive results.
  • Manage keyword and bid strategies across multiple advertising channels.
  • Build and oversee reporting structures, analytics, and performance insights for retail media campaigns.
  • Supervise the design and rollout of Test & Learns, with a focus on new retailer advertising solutions and Flywheel’s internal tools.
  • Lead or oversee regular client communications.
  • Develop account teams and direct reports, supporting their career growth at Flywheel.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of client campaign budgets and oversee budget management by account teams.
  • For full-service media and retail engagements, connect weekly with the internal Retail team.
  • Educate clients on industry trends and best practices, contributing to Flywheel’s thought leadership.
  • Work with teams to uncover new opportunities for managed clients.
  • Respond quickly to resolve any campaign issues.
