About the job
ABOUT ROCKET LAB
Rocket Lab is a pioneering end-to-end space company that provides agile launch services, comprehensive spacecraft design and manufacturing, and a variety of payloads and satellite components, all aimed at making space accessible. The rockets and satellites we develop and launch facilitate critical global space missions, including scientific exploration, Earth monitoring, climate change initiatives, national security, and innovative technology demonstrations.
Our Electron rocket has achieved the status of the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket each year, successfully delivering over 230 satellites into orbit. Meanwhile, we are actively working on Neutron, our next-generation medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle intended for larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is responsible for designing and manufacturing a wide array of satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as components utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SUPPLY CHAIN
The Supply Chain team at Rocket Lab plays a crucial role in managing the flow of all materials, products, and components throughout the organization. Given that many of our products are essential components for our own and our customers’ missions, the Supply Chain team significantly influences the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They establish assembly kits that empower our technicians to construct the Electron and Neutron rockets, oversee inventory, manage shipping and receiving processes, handle direct and indirect procurement, and ensure compliance of all materials and products with industry standards. They are the vital link connecting our teams and are integral to our success.
SENIOR MASTER SCHEDULER
Located at Rocket Lab's Global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Senior Master Scheduler will serve as the architectural leader for program planning across intricate space programs. This role goes beyond mere schedule management; it involves optimizing a dynamic value chain. You will spearhead the creation of strategic, rate-based schedules, manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), project long-term capacity, and address complex issues that could impede mission timelines.
