Job Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing production efficiency, minimizing costs, optimizing ergonomics, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration within the company and partnerships with external engineering teams through RFPs, SOWs, and design development. Key responsibilities include gathering and formalizing requirements to enhance manufacturability and design durability, creating physical systems for quality testing and sensor calibration, and coordinating with suppliers for outsourcing initiatives. As a senior member of the team, leadership duties encompass conducting PFMEAs, participating in safety reviews, and mentoring technicians and junior engineers.
