Your RoleAs the Director of People Operations at Turnkey, you will assume complete control of the People function, previously overseen by the COO. You will serve as the independent functional leader, responsible for developing, scaling, and managing all aspects of people-related operations throughout the organization. This encompasses talent acquisition strategies, People Operations (HRIS, compliance, benefits), performance management, compensation frameworks, and executive coaching initiatives.This pivotal, hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned leader eager to cultivate a world-class culture marked by high agency and scalable processes. You will ensure our People strategy aligns seamlessly with our business objectives of rapid growth and operational excellence.What You’ll DoLead and develop all People functions including talent acquisition, HR business partnership, and People Operations.Continuously enhance performance management, leveling, and compensation frameworks.Collaborate with the Finance team on headcount planning, compensation strategies, and organizational design.Foster managerial development and support the growth of executive leadership.Establish efficient and scalable talent acquisition processes and systems.Enhance our organizational culture through clarity, programs, and high standards.Ensure that People operations function smoothly, compliantly, and with minimal bureaucracy.Mentor and develop a small yet impactful People team.What We’re Looking ForA minimum of 7 years of experience in People/HR roles, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership position (Head of/VP) within a high-growth technology company.Proven track record as a builder and executor who has implemented core systems and processes personally.Comprehensive exposure to all aspects of People/HR: talent acquisition, HR business partnering, People Operations, and compensation.A strong operational mindset: structured, organized, pragmatic, and systems-oriented.A high-agency, first-principles thinker comfortable with coaching and challenging executives.Preferred QualificationsExperience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or B2B SaaS industries.In-depth knowledge of employment law and compliance matters.
