GoFundMe Pro (previously Classy) is on the lookout for a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering who will spearhead and enhance our Solutions Engineering department as we expand our enterprise business. This pivotal role exists at the confluence of sales, product development, engineering, and customer success, ensuring that we provide technically robust, scalable, and innovative solutions to our esteemed nonprofit clients.
This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Solutions & Partnerships. The selected candidate will lead and nurture a team of Solutions Engineers while remaining actively involved in intricate deals, strategic account management, and cross-functional projects. Your influence will shape our technical presence in the marketplace, foster collaboration with the Sales team, and guide how customer insights inform our strategic roadmap.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an individual who has extensive experience in the enterprise Solutions Engineering field, possesses the ability to mentor senior technical talent, and excels at simplifying complexity for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Location: Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an in-office requirement of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Enterprise Solutions Engineers dedicated to supporting complex, high-value nonprofit clients.
- Establish expectations, best practices, and quality standards for technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and customer engagement.
- Coach Solutions Engineers on executive presence, compelling technical narratives, and managing lengthy, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes.
- Collaborate with Recruiting and cross-functional leaders on hiring, onboarding, and team growth.
Enterprise Sales & Technical Strategy:
- Act as a senior technical authority on the most complex and significant enterprise opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure alignment on deal strategies, technical positioning, and resource allocation.
- Guarantee consistency and rigor in how solutions are designed, articulated, and marketed throughout the sales funnel.
- Assist with RFPs, security reviews, integration discussions, and architectural assessments as required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a critical link between Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless operations.
