Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of an iconic brand poised to transform the electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV market, your role will include:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Design Release Engineers (DREs) focused on wheel guidance components such as knuckles, wishbones, trailing arms, bushings, bearings, fasteners, wheels, and tires.
- Recruit and onboard new team members to align with program and organizational growth.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, accountability, and continuous advancement.
- Balance workloads, plan resources effectively, and promote team development.
Component Development & Engineering Execution
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of wheel guidance component development from inception to customer release.
- Manage concept development, benchmarking, simulations, CAE reviews, design iterations, drawing releases, and engineering documentation.
- Guide the team through technical challenges, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
