About the job

At May Mobility, we are revolutionizing urban transportation through cutting-edge autonomous technologies, making the world a safer, greener, and more accessible place. Our headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is where we develop and deploy autonomous vehicles (AVs) utilizing our groundbreaking Multi-Policy Decision Making (MPDM) technology that fundamentally alters how AVs operate.

Our vehicles do more than navigate independently; they enhance community value, bridge gaps in public transit, and transport individuals safely and enjoyably to their destinations. We are on a mission to create the leading autonomy system that reshapes public transit by reducing congestion, widening access, and promoting optimal land use to cultivate vibrant, sustainable urban spaces. Since our inception in 2017, we have facilitated over 500,000 autonomous rides worldwide, and we're just beginning our journey. We seek passionate individuals committed to shaping the future by addressing real-world challenges and witnessing the tangible impact of their efforts. Join us!

To support our objectives of safe operations and ongoing autonomy development, we are in search of a Senior Manager for the Autonomy Support team. This team plays a crucial role in converting field data into actionable insights, identifying operational challenges, and establishing unique metrics to monitor progress. The team is tasked with diagnosing operational issues and directing them to their root causes, thereby empowering site lifecycle managers to guide development teams in resolving these challenges and advancing our strategic roadmap.

As our fleet grows and the volume of driving data from our field software increases, our current processes require a significant overhaul. This position is a transformation hire, responsible for reengineering the methods by which field data is collected, prioritized, justified, and tracked through to verified resolution.

For this role, candidates should anticipate a Hybrid work model, requiring occasional in-office presence in Ann Arbor while primarily working remotely with reliable internet access and unlimited data upload/download capabilities.
