THE WORK:
As a pivotal figure in our mission to forge the Internet of Value, we are searching for a Senior Manager, Financial Risk. This role transcends traditional risk management; you will be integral to our business's commercial core, influencing strategies that facilitate product scalability and prudent market entry. You will be a key expert, converting complex financial risks into straightforward, actionable insights that directly influence and safeguard Ripple's growth!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Act as a Strategic Partner: Collaborate closely with leaders across RLUSD, Payments, Lending, and Trading to drive business growth. Your expertise in risk assessment will guide the structuring of innovative deals and the development of new products, ensuring ambitious targets are met while staying within the firm's risk appetite.
- Innovate Risk Management: Create and implement advanced risk models, loss forecasting, reporting tools, and stress testing frameworks tailored for the digital asset landscape. You will play a crucial role in establishing robust governance structures and reporting systems that keep senior leadership informed and aligned strategically.
- Educate and Influence: Position yourself as the organization's go-to authority on financial risk. You will simplify complex technical topics into clear insights for various stakeholders, from business development teams to C-suite executives, shaping risk culture and informed decision-making.
- Counterparty Risk Mitigation: Move beyond traditional financial statement analysis to proactively identify and mitigate counterparty risks.
