About The Role

As a key player in the design of the next generation of Digit, the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering. This role involves managing, inspiring, and developing a talented team of electrical engineers to ensure the design and development of hardware that is both robust and reliable. A strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and a proactive approach to project urgency are essential.

This position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires up to 15% domestic travel.

  • Oversee hiring, development, and performance management of team members, including workload distribution, schedule execution, design processes, and design reviews.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices, design standards, and thorough documentation.
  • Achieve exceptional results within designated timelines and budget constraints.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with peer managers and exemplify cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure the team operates in a safe and collaborative workspace.
