Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent direct experience.6+ years of development experience as an application engineer or senior programmer analyst.5+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe COBOL and/or Mainframe/iSeries development.5+ years of experience with relational databases. Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with logistics order-to-delivery processes, distribution functions, or transportation processes. Experience with Accounts Receivable systems. Experience with ASI Accounts Receivable systems. Proficient in COBOL programming on Mainframe and iSeries platforms. Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS. Ability to adapt and multitask based on workflow demands.

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is actively seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer specializing in COBOL to join our dynamic team in the vibrant city of La Vergne, TN (Greater Nashville area). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of critical financial systems, including Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Sales Reporting applications. You will lead small to midsize projects and engage in the analysis and design of innovative systems, adeptly handling complex development challenges involving multi-platform environments and project management that remains within departmental boundaries. This hybrid position requires you to work from our Ingram headquarters four days a week.
