The Team

The Automated Driving Advanced Development division at TRI is dedicated to driving innovation at Toyota. We bridge the gap between cutting-edge research at TRI and Toyota's product and service needs through collaboration and shared commitment. Our team is spearheading a transformative project in partnership with Woven by Toyota to develop a comprehensive end-to-end automated driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) stack. This initiative is closely aligned with TRI's efforts in Diffusion Policy and Large Behavior Models within the robotics domain.

The Opportunity

We seek a Senior Machine Learning Researcher to join our mission of developing a cutting-edge, end-to-end automated driving system that translates pixels to actions. As a machine learning expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative models for our autonomy stack, deploying them on vehicle platforms to address everyday driving tasks and complex scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of leading independent research initiatives, with a preference for mentorship experience with junior researchers and students.
