About the job

About the Company

At Torc Robotics, we are at the forefront of autonomous vehicle technology, dedicated to revolutionizing transportation and freight movement.

As a pioneer in autonomous driving since 2007, we have collaborated with industry leaders to bring our innovative solutions to market. Now part of the Daimler family, our mission is focused on developing cutting-edge software for automated trucks, fundamentally transforming freight logistics.

Join our dynamic team and accelerate your career with a company that has played a key role in the evolution of autonomous technology and was the first software provider to partner directly with a truck manufacturer.

Meet the Team:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Road & Lane Detection, you will spearhead the development of models that empower Torc’s autonomous vehicles to accurately perceive and interpret road structures, lane markings, and drivable surfaces.

You will architect next-generation deep learning frameworks and data-driven methodologies that extract high-fidelity road and lane semantics from diverse sensor inputs, leading to significant enhancements in perception accuracy, stability, and scalability.

This role is centered on technical leadership, focusing on model innovation and maturation rather than downstream feature integration.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the model roadmap for Road & Lane Detection within the Model Development ML organization — from initial concept through to production-grade model maturity.
