Role Purpose
We are in search of a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with extensive knowledge in computer vision and biometrics to spearhead the design and scaling of advanced face recognition systems in a production environment. You will be responsible for developing and training models while managing machine learning systems end-to-end on AWS. The final job level will be confirmed following the interview process.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and implementation of computer vision systems focusing on biometrics, including face attribute detection, quality assessment, and recognition.
Conduct thorough fairness analysis and benchmark biometric models across diverse datasets and operational scenarios.
Architect, train, and optimize models utilizing frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Manage and enhance comprehensive ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment. Design automated systems (using Airflow) for data processing and cleansing. You will also be tasked with curating balanced training datasets and generating synthetic data to address quality and diversity issues.
Ensure successful production engineering by optimizing models for low-latency inference through methods such as quantization, distillation, and utilizing TensorRT/ONNX, along with managing deployment on AWS.
Provide mentorship to fellow ML engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and promote technical best practices within the Computer Vision team.
