Role Overview
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Qodea, you will work at the intersection of applied machine learning, large-scale data, and user-facing products. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge ML solutions that enhance user experiences while managing the entire ML lifecycle and ensuring seamless model integration in our production environments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning to conduct deep data analysis and feature selection.
- Deconstruct ML pipelines to enhance their robustness in real-world applications.
- Create and maintain data pipelines to prepare data for model training and evaluation.
- Design and implement A/B tests to assess model performance and its impact on business metrics.
- Establish and oversee model observability for tracking accuracy, bias, and drift.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality data ingestion for intelligent systems.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong foundational knowledge of diverse ML algorithms and the ability to select the appropriate tool for each task.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native ML services, preferably on GCP using Vertex AI.
- Proficiency in Python and its associated data science libraries.
- Experience with data storage technologies and their scalability characteristics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
- Familiarity with API development using REST or GraphQL.
- Experience deploying ML solutions in e-commerce or financial services.
