To excel in this role, you should possess:- Expertise in operating and managing NPS network infrastructure.- Strong skills in enhancing infrastructure monitoring and reporting capabilities through network management software.- Ability to develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive documentation related to NPS network infrastructure.- Knowledge of current best practices in network architecture, design, management, and operation.- Experience with the administration of Cloudpath (or equivalent), monitoring and troubleshooting wireless network health, maintenance of wireless infrastructure, and implementation of network security patches and software/firmware updates.- Capability to assess network infrastructure and provide optimization recommendations.- Experience in defining and conducting testing procedures for new infrastructure projects.- Proficiency in implementing technology solutions within the NPS network environment.- Ability to provide design guidance on network solutions for NPS infrastructure projects.- Skills in informal training and knowledge transfer regarding best practices and operation theory related to network products.

Join CGS Federal as a Senior Lead Network Engineer II and play a pivotal role in the evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of a large-scale network project. This project encompasses both wired and wireless network infrastructure alongside essential hardware and software.

Your responsibilities will include assessing the current setup of disparate networks, designing and implementing a cohesive network infrastructure that meets both wireless and wired requirements. You will also provide consultation on hardware and software to ensure optimal support for this infrastructure, alongside conducting systems testing, vulnerability assessments, and quality assurance for the new setup.

As a vital team member, you will collaborate with state and local government personnel, internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors providing development services.
