We are currently looking for a Senior Computer Vision and Autonomy Engineering Lead to spearhead technical leadership, architectural guidance, and team management for projects focused on robotic navigation, autonomous systems, and advanced sensor processing. This role includes significant technical responsibilities at a senior level, alongside the chance to lead a talented team of 5–10 engineers. The ideal candidate will possess profound expertise in computer vision and autonomy, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for developing and mentoring engineering talent.
Your Impact:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of computer vision and autonomy algorithms and software systems.
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers specializing in computer vision, perception, and autonomy; assist with hiring, onboarding, performance assessments, and professional growth.
- Develop robust and maintainable software solutions for applications such as object detection and tracking, SLAM, visual odometry, sensor fusion, and image processing.
- Optimize and deploy machine learning models on embedded, edge, and real-time systems utilizing frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Oversee system architecture, conduct technical reviews, ensure code quality, and uphold engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and operational experts to define technical requirements and translate research concepts into actionable solutions across ground, sea, air, and space domains.
- Engage with customers through technical briefings, requirement discussions, field testing, and integration activities.
- Contribute to proposal development, technical documentation, reports, and transition planning for applied research and product development initiatives.
- Support the enhancement and scalability of internal technical capabilities to address emerging program and commercialization demands.
