About the job
C1 stands at the forefront of cybersecurity, offering the first AI-native identity security platform designed to safeguard all identities—human, non-human, and AI. Our innovative solution leverages powerful automation, platform-level AI, and seamless connectors to centralize access visibility, enforce granular controls, enable just-in-time access, and automate user access reviews across a plethora of applications. Trusted by leading enterprises such as DigitalOcean, Instacart, Ramp, and Zscaler, our platform is user-friendly, quick to deploy, and highly effective.
The Role
We are in search of a Senior IT Systems Engineer who is passionate about resolving complex challenges and possesses an unquenchable curiosity for AI technologies. This individual will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our internal technology stack, which encompasses endpoint management, SaaS administration, and infrastructure automation. As the primary technology resource at C1, you will manage everything from strategic platform choices to hands-on troubleshooting, ensuring our fast-paced organization continues to thrive.
This is not your conventional IT role. You will be encouraged to explore the limits of AI-driven tools, automation, and contemporary IT practices. If you are someone who eagerly prototypes new AI workflow tools by Monday after reading about them over the weekend, you will find your place here.
Your Responsibilities
• Own the IT stack end-to-end: Oversee and enhance our SaaS ecosystem (including Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Jira/Linear, GitHub, etc.), endpoint fleet (macOS-focused), and networking/security infrastructure.
• Be the fixer: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of workplace technology issues—from access challenges and hardware malfunctions to intricate integration problems. No challenge is too small or too complex.
• Automate relentlessly: Develop scripts, workflows, and integrations to eliminate manual tasks. Utilize AI tools and LLMs to optimize IT operations, ticket management, onboarding/offboarding, and daily support.
• Drive AI adoption internally: Assess, pilot, and deploy AI-driven tools to enhance productivity across the organization. Advocate for responsible AI implementation and contribute to shaping our internal AI policies and best practices.
• Manage identity and access: Administer identity providers, SSO, MFA, and access governance—utilizing C1’s own platform to manage access throughout our environment.
• Scale for growth: Design and implement IT processes, policies, and infrastructure that grow alongside the company as we expand from approximately 100 employees and beyond.
