Role overview

The Senior Integration Test Engineer serves as a key connection between simulation and real-world testing within the R&D team. This role centers on validating vehicle system behavior in controlled lab environments. Work includes both static vehicle-level testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, such as replaying actual drive logs and documenting how systems respond.

Responsibilities extend to leading tests on HIL bench setups and overseeing static vehicle-level simulated driving. The position requires close collaboration with software, hardware, and systems engineers to design HIL infrastructure, develop automation processes, and support team members in validating safety-critical systems.

What you will do

  • Validate vehicle system behavior in lab settings using both static and HIL testing methods
  • Replay real drive logs and record system responses
  • Lead testing on HIL bench setups and static vehicle-level simulations
  • Work with engineering teams to design and improve HIL infrastructure
  • Innovate automation processes for testing workflows
  • Mentor team members in safety-critical system validation

Requirements

  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and static vehicle-level simulation
  • Background in validating complex vehicle systems
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong documentation and process improvement skills
  • Mentoring experience in an R&D setting is a plus
