We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, specifically in offshore environments. This role demands expertise in HVAC design and the ability to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Compensation Package: Attractive salary, bachelor sharing accommodation, local conveyance, medical insurance, visa sponsorship, and flight tickets provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily tasks assigned by superiors to uphold compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare conceptual design inputs and detailed HVAC system designs.
- Conduct design verifications and necessary calculations.
- Collaborate with design and drafting teams to review and issue drawings and documents.
- Provide estimation support for projects.
- Review vendor technical offers and compliance statements.
- Participate in model reviews with clients.
- Prepare documentation for Class and statutory body approvals.
- Review and approve design deliverables, including heat load calculations, equipment sizing, airflow diagrams, ducting layouts, P&IDs, and more.
- Oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning of HVAC sub-systems.
- Attend FATs at vendor facilities and site acceptance tests for HVAC systems.
- Review client specifications and manage scope clarifications.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in HVAC design software and drafting tools.
- Familiarity with marine and offshore HVAC codes, Classification Society rules, and statutory regulations.
- Excellent coordination and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop, interpret, and adhere to method statements, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and data.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge and experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, and HVAC offshore projects.
