What We Are Looking For

Aurora seeks skilled professionals with diverse backgrounds eager to contribute to a transportation ecosystem that enhances road safety, ensures timely delivery of essential goods, and promotes efficient and accessible mobility for all. We are on the lookout for a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer. This pivotal role is integral to our team, which oversees the comprehensive electrical validation of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and systems, from initial design and board bring-up to ongoing engineering support and field issue resolution. This position is crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest reliability standards, essential for ensuring safety. The new hire will benefit from access to an exceptional lab space, collaborate with industry experts, and play a key role in making our products robust and reliable for mass production.

In This Role You Will

  • Act as the technical lead for PCBA design validation and module and system-level validation.
  • Drive sustaining engineering initiatives, including root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for field issues.
  • Formulate hardware validation strategies and test plans, executing electrical system-level validation to identify and rectify design issues, ensuring compliance with product quality requirements.
