Key Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the design, construction, and upkeep of mechanical or electrical test stands for a variety of tests including development, production acceptance, and environmental qualifications. Automate repetitive tasks associated with the test stands. Draft, execute, and review test plans, procedures, and reports. Collaborate closely with design and flight test engineers to design, build, and enhance flight hardware. Foster team growth and provide mentorship to colleagues. Basic Success Criteria:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware testing within a regulated industry. Strong proficiency with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium) or MCAD tools (e.g., NX). Experience in software development and implementation using Python or C/C++.

As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our Hardware Test team. This small yet highly skilled team is dedicated to ensuring that all hardware produced adheres to the stringent standards required for aviation. You will serve as a vital link among the design, production, and flight test teams, encountering a wide range of technical challenges.

Your responsibilities will include architecting automated test stands designed to simulate extreme flight conditions, which are crucial for our qualification testing. You will be instrumental in diagnosing hardware failures, contributing valuable insights for redesign, and developing the software and hardware platforms essential for command, control, and data collection systems that meet rigorous aerospace standards. As a technical leader, you'll be part of a dynamic team eager for growth and learning.
