Join Lithos Carbon as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer and collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering to develop the operating system for one of the largest carbon dioxide removal initiatives in history. Your work will directly contribute to creating an innovative industry aimed at removing tens of billions of tons of CO2 within the next decade.

Software plays a crucial role in this endeavor, addressing the mass transfer challenge of carbon removal. We believe that success hinges on effectively leveraging established industries such as agriculture , mining , and transportation . However, having the necessary infrastructure is just the beginning.

At Lithos, we are constructing the operating system to plan, orchestrate, track, and optimize enhanced rock weathering. Your deep full-stack technical expertise, combined with empathy and design thinking, will be vital in building and scaling our interconnected platform. Here are some of the diverse challenges you might tackle:

  • Developing interactive geospatial tools for mapping, analysis, and optimization.
  • Creating innovative automated and human-in-the-loop workflows for digitizing PDF maps and records.
  • Designing pipelines for ingesting, converting, and analyzing raw data logs from agricultural machinery.
  • Implementing audit-ready representations, tracking, and reconciliation of various real-world activities.
  • Developing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for tens of thousands of field samples.
